Bert E. Noble
Bert is an associate in the Atlanta office of Goodman McGuffey, LLP. Bert practices focuses on insurance defense and general civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Bert clerked for Chief Judge Joe C. Bishop of the Pataula Judicial Circuit in Southwest Georgia. After his clerkship, Bert was in private practice at a firm in Cartersville, Georgia, focusing on insurance defense and municipal/local government law.
A lifelong Georgia resident, Bert received his undergraduate degree in journalism from Georgia Southern University in 2008, and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2012, where he was awarded the Law School Association scholarship. Bert is extremely active in the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, presently serving as the chairman of the YLD Disaster Legal Assistance Committee. Bert received the YLD Award for Service to the Public in 2016 for his work with the Disaster Legal Assistance Committee following two natural disasters in south Georgia. Bert also is a 2016 graduate of the YLD Leadership Academy.
An Eagle Scout, Bert serves on the Executive Board of the Northwest Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster of a local troop.
