Grayson M. Shephard joined the Columbia office of Goodman McGuffey LLP in 2017. Grayson’s practice focuses primarily on general civil litigation and insurance defense. Grayson is admitted to practice law in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
Grayson graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2013. While in law school, Grayson was an articles editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal. Prior to law school, Grayson attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he graduated with a BA in Anthropology. During his time at James Madison, Grayson worked as a field archaeologist on numerous sites in the American Southwest and Civil War battlefields.
Grayson grew up in Salem, Virginia, and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife, Whitney. When not working, Grayson is active as the Chair of the Mecklenburg County YLD Legal Assistance Committee. In his spare time, Grayson enjoys being outdoors, reading, and all things sports.
