Richard E. “Rich” Marsh, III joined the Columbia office of Goodman McGuffey LLP in 2016. His practice includes general civil litigation, insurance coverage, alleged bad faith practices, construction defect litigation, motor vehicle liability, premises liability, and governmental defense. Prior to practicing law, Rich was a law clerk for the Honorable James R. Barber, III in Columbia, South Carolina.
Rich received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2011. While in law school, Rich was a member of the Moot Court Bar and served on the Honor Council. Rich is admitted to the State Bar of South Carolina, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Prior to law school, Rich graduated from Wofford College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. Rich and his wife, Anna, reside in Columbia.
